Easy and Effective Way To Lose Weight


It seems that everyone is looking for the "secret" weight loss workout and diet plan to help them lose weight fast. The fact of the matter is, there is no secret way to lose weight. It takes time, effort and a good plan. The most important thing that I learned on my weight loss journey was that both exercise and healthy eating must be included in your daily routine in order for you to lose weight. If you want to know an easy way to lose weight, I recommend that you consider making these changes to your lifestyle.
Get moving
Not only does exercising burn fat and tone muscles, it also helps you stay healthy. Exercise is an important component for weight loss. Weight loss without exercise is like a sandwich without bread. If you are just beginning your weight loss journey, you can start off with some jogging, swimming or even walking. However, if you have already began losing weight, you might want to start following a specific exercise regime. Any type of exercise that gets your heart pumping will help you burn fat. You just have to get up and move.
Water
You have to start drinking more water. It help flush out all the gunk in your body plus it will prevent false cravings (that normally occur when you feel dehydrated). I started off by drinking at least 5 glasses of water everyday. I would normally have 1 glass with every mini-meal. After a while I started drinking 8 glasses a day. I just developed a habit of drinking water (instead of soda) every time I got thirsty.
Eat More than 3 Times a Day
As ironic as it may seem, eating more than three mini-meals everyday can help you lose fat. I eat one mini-meal every 2-3 hours or before I get hungry. It is important that you don't let yourself get hungry or else you might end up eating more food, resulting in weight gain. However by the same token, don't eat too much because it obviously won't help you at all. Just keep your consumption portions moderate. This will stop fat from accumulating, keep your metabolism rate high and improve your digestion..
Eat Healthy Foods
A couple of changes to your diet can also make your weight loss journey faster and easier. Fresh fruits and vegetables contain lots of healthy nutrients but few calories thus you need to increase the consumption of vegetables & fruits and try to eat them everyday. You will will also need to watch your portion sizes and make sure you don't eat too much at a time. The palm of your hand can be used to measure how much you should be eating. Also, try making some effort to replace bad foods with more healthier choices (eg. instead of drinking Diet Coke as a substitute for Coke, drink water as it will speed up the weight loss process significantly).
Don't Eat When You are Not Hungry
Don't let your cravings for chips or chocolate snap you. Whenever your cravings spike up, tell yourself "Not now" and wait for about 15 minutes (without checking the time), then see if your hunger has gone back to normal. A glass of water would normally replenish this hunger attack. This task would be difficult for people who eat fatty snack foods at specific times of the day on a regular basis. You may find yourself getting cravings at those times. If you can't resist the temptation of fatty snacks, try isolating yourself from them and always keep no more than a cup full of walnuts and raisins with you. Walnuts help prevent/stop diabetes and keep the mind focused whilst raisins prevent cancer and boost your energy. Otherwise, just wait until you have a meal.
